Westville Man Charged With Sexual Assault on Child

Gabriel Torres, 43, of Westville NJ, was charged this week with sexually assaulting a child under age 13 in Deptford Township in June, 2016, according to a statement released by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office (GCPO).

The complaints were signed on May 23, 2017 by an officer of the GCPO.

Torres was charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and second-degree sexual assault involving a sex act “through the use of physical force or coercion.”

Torres is being held without bail on the charges pending a detention hearing.
