Virtua “Tops Off” the New Camden Health & Wellness Center

Virtua recently celebrated the Topping Off Ceremony for the new Camden Health & Wellness Center. This traditional ceremony commemorated the signing of the last beam which was then placed at the top of the new Center, slated to open to the public in late 2018.

“Today we celebrate the culmination of years of planning and hard work to make our dream come true—a one-stop health and wellness center for the families of Camden,” explained Virtua president and CEO Dennis Pullin. “Virtua has a long history of being a trusted and reliable healthcare provider for the City of Camden. The need in Camden continues to increase and this Center will offer world-class healthcare and contribute to developing a healthier future for the Camden community.”

To complete the Topping Off Ceremony, a beam is secured.

The Center will include family medicine, an emergency room, specialty care services, dental, podiatry, physical therapy, laboratory and conference and education rooms. The state-of-the-art Center will incorporate 34,000 square feet and cost $23 million.
