Updated Photos With Maps Brooklawn Old Salem Pike & Route 130 Improvement Project

The work in the area of Old Salem Pike and Route 130 in Brooklawn continues to progress.

Updated photos taken by SJO August 4, 2017 show that part of the median has been removed and that new signs and traffic control devices have been installed.

The improvements are part of the Brooklawn Circle Improvements Project and include:

• The elimination of left turn movement from the Brooklawn Circle onto Creek Road.
• The elimination of all turns from Creek Road to Route 47.
• The improvement of the vertical curve from the Route 47 Bridge onto the circle.
• Upgrades to Old Salem Pike including a new adaptive traffic signal at the corner of Route 130 and Old Salem Pike.
• Pedestrian upgrades.
• Utility improvements.

2002 Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s Report

In February 2002, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission issued a report “US 130 Brooklawn Circles Concept Development Report.”
