Runnemede Woman Charged With Arson

Teresa McKinnie, 53, of Runnemede, was charged with arson today after Runnemede Police and Runnemede Fire Departments responded to a dwelling fire on Friday, February 9, 2018 at an apartment building located in the area of 300 North Black Horse Pike in Runnemede at approximately 3:58 a.m.

When officers arrived, they entered the apartment building and gained entry into Teresa McKinnie’s apartment where they discovered the fire.

During the investigation, Runnemede Police Detective Michael Amato learned that Ms. McKinnie allegedly attempted to burn personal property that belonged to a former boyfriend.

McKinnie was arrested and charged with third degree Arson, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Runnemede Police Chief Paul Daley. She was later released on summons.

All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
