Runnemede Man Faces Additional Burglary Charges

Brandon Laxton, of Runnemede, has been arrested again on charges of burglary and criminal and criminal intent. He was charged with similar crimes earlier this month.

The Runnemede Police Department announced that on June 15, 2017 at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Central Avenue for a burglary in progress.

Upon arrival officers met with a resident who was able to stop the suspect and hold him until police arrival.


The suspect has been identified as Brandon Laxton of Runnemede. At this time, Laxton was charged with two counts of burglary and one count of criminal intent.

According to the Runnemede Police Department’s post: Laxton “is also believed to be responsible for multiple vehicle burglaries over the course of the night where additional charges are pending.”

Laxton was transported to Kennedy Stratford for injuries and then released.

Additionally, while in Stratford, Laxton “found himself in the homes and yards of local residents. Mr. Laxton was then again taken into custody where he was charged with two additional counts of burglary and two counts of Criminal Mischief.”

Laxton was remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility and has a pending court date.

On June 5, 2017, the Mt. Ephraim Police Department charged Laxton with two counts of burglary, one count of theft, and one count of criminal attempt/burglary.
