On August 11, 2017, the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) closed the stretch of Creek Road from Old Salem Road to the Brooklawn Circle. The stretch of road is expected to be closed for several months as the Brooklawn Circle Improvements project continues to advance.
Detours are in place and Old Salem Pike has re-opened.
Motrists are being directing along pre-planned detour routes.
Drivers headed northbound on Route 47 will be detoured to Route 130 via the circle, before heading to Old Salem Road and then Creek Road. Creek Road traffic will follow the same detour route heading in the opposite direction, first turning onto Old Salem Road and ending southbound on Route 47.
