John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum will facilitate two public presentations to outline the proposed refuge hunt plan and seek public input on issues and concerns related to environmental assessment compatibility determination. The refuge proposes opening a public use hunt program for white-tailed deer. Hunting program objectives include providing a method of removing white-tailed deer from area populations and providing the public with quality, wildlife-oriented recreation. The first presentation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30th at Ezekiel Baptist Church located at 5701-39 Grays Ave Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19143. The second presentation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4th at Tinicum Township Municipal Building at 629 N Governor Printz Blvd, Essington, PA 19029.
