Dollar Tree To Open In Bellmawr; Compassionate Sciences Expanding

The Bellmawr Planning Board approved the site plans for a Dollar Tree to be constructed at the site of the demolished Wonder Bread Outlet on the Black Horse Pike. Also, Compassionate Sciences will expand its operations.

At its May 1, 2017 meeting, the Bellmawr Planning Board approved both cases on its meeting agenda.

Dollar Tree

Bellmawr Retail, LLC, was approved to construct a Dollar Tree at 42 N. Black Horse Pike. The site has long been vacant and used to be a Wonder Bread Outlet.

Following that case, SJO asked a representative of Solomon Construction when ground was expected to be broken for the new Dollar Tree and was told it would be later this year.

Compassionate Sciences

The second case on the Planning Board’s agenda was for a site plan review for Focused Investment Partners, LLC, which operates as Compassionate Sciences at 130 Harding Avenue.

Focused Investment Partners, LLC sought site plan approval in order to expand its operations. Their site plan includes the acquisition and demolition of the Fasulo Contractors building.
