Boys & Girls Club STEM Program Gets ‘Energized’ by Atlantic City Electric Grant

Atlantic City Electric, through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlantic City and Gloucester County, has launched a new program called the Atlantic City Electric STEM Club.

Atlantic City Electric, through a partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlantic City and Gloucester County, has launched a new program called the Atlantic City Electric STEM Club. The program, funded by a $50,000 grant from Atlantic City Electric, provides Boys and Girls Club representatives an engaging project-based curriculum and career development program to help prepare elementary, middle and high school-aged students for career opportunities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

“At Atlantic City Electric and across the Exelon family of companies, we are engaged in initiatives that advance diversity and inclusion, invest in our youth, support the environment and help our communities thrive,” said Vince Maione, Atlantic City Electric region president. “Through this program, we are investing in our youth today and helping to develop South Jersey’s leaders of tomorrow.


The new program, which will benefit more than 300 local South Jersey students each year, builds on Atlantic City Electric’sefforts to help advance local youth through engaging education programs that prepare students for advanced education and future workforce opportunities.
