Philadelphia, PA – Dunkin’ of greater Philadelphia today announced the launch of its eighth annual “Roast Hunger” campaign to help fight hunger in the Philadelphia community.
Beginning today, Nov. 23, DD Perks® members can receive a large Hot Coffee for $1.49 when they pay with an enrolled Dunkin’ card. For every “Roast Hunger” coupon redeemed, Dunkin’s Philadelphia-area franchisees will donate 50-cents to its five regional food bank partners: Philabundance, Food Bank of Delaware, Food Bank of South Jersey, Greater Berks Food Bank and Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. The funds raised will directly support the food banks as they strive to end hunger in the Philadelphia-area.

According to Feeding America, Philadelphia is ranked in the top 10 amongst highest number of food insecure cities with approximately one in four people facing hunger on a daily basis.
On Thanksgiving Day, Dunkin’ and its Philadelphia-area franchisees donated 10 percent of all coffee sales to its five regional food bank partners. Since 2011, Dunkin’ has been committed to the fight against hunger raising more than $1 million through its annual Thanksgiving Day fundraiser and “Roast Hunger” campaign.
